This was my scrapbook page for my first layout of GotSketch102. The idea is to use 3 vertical 4×6 photos with coordinating papers/accents. I decided to scrap my trip to the Mystery Spot last summer. I settled on the idea of using spots throughout, so I dug deep into my stack of retired paper for my remaining sheets of Dashing (retired). I then coordinated with So Saffron card stock and retired pattern paper.
I’m a card maker, so I don’t have a ton of stamps/accessories to use for scrapbooking, so I had to make stuff up. I took Very Vanilla card stock and punched holes in it with the Crop-A-Dile for the borders on the top and bottom. I used my Coluzzle to cut out circles and ovals for my titles and journaling. Then I used my black Stampin’ Write marker and made black circles on the black card stock. I had a non-SU! embellishment that I traced onto So Saffron and cut out for the label on the bottom.
Although it is kind of rough around the edges, I’m pretty proud of this page. This was truly a limited supply page. I had to experiment quite a bit to find ways to spice up the layout. It is fun and silly and everything that day with my friend Zita was.
