Easter Projects

Here are two projects that I’ve prepared for April’s Cocktails and Crafts and Sneak Away Saturday open houses. I’ve come down with a cold, so I don’t have a sample of an all-occasions card yet – sorry! The deal: 3 items for $5! Can’t beat that price these days. Email me at katy@onyxstamps.com if you are interested in attending!

Easter Bunny House Easter Basket

Details below:

Easter Bunny House I call this card Easter Bunny House. When my family would visit my grandmother on Staten Island there was a house we’d pass that I called the Easter Bunny House. Don’t ask me why…but even into adulthood when I’d see it I’d think “easter bunny house”.

I got this great wheel Neighborhood a few months back, but this is the first time I’ve used it. It is wheeled on Sage Shadow, and then again on Whisper White. Then I colored the house in with Soft Subtles Stampin’ Write Markers. That house is cut out and put on the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The clouds were actually drawn in Adobe Illustrator, printed, cut out, and adhered to the card with SNAIL.

Recipe:

  • Stamps: Neighborhood
  • Paper: Sage Shadow, Whisper White
  • Coloring: Basic Black, Soft Subtles Stampin’ Write Markers

Easter Basket This basket was inspired by the always fantastic Jan Tink. What a fantastic way to use the scallop envelope die! Check out her blog for instructions.
