Voila Birthday

I made this card for my friend’s daughter’s birthday. She and I had been flipping through the new SU! Catalog a few weeks ago, and she loved the Voila set (probably because it reminded her of Ratatouille). So I knew that I’d have to make her card from that set. I used the sketch from the Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge #74.

I used a lot of retired product on this card, because I’ve got to use it sometime, right? Also, the cake totally clashes with the rest of the card, but I wanted it to look like a cake that the birthday girl would have loved, and what 6 year old girl doesn’t love pink, purple and green?
