A few weeks ago a coworker sent me an email with a whole bunch of amusing observations. There was one in particular that gave me a chuckle: “I discovered I scream the same way whether I’m about to be devoured by a great white shark or if a piece of seaweed touches my foot.” How true is that? I knew that it should become a card, and I knew just the stamp to use…that crazy fish from Just Beachy.
Since my handwriting is terrible, I knew the sentiment would have to be done on the computer. And that crazy fish stamp is pretty tiny, and I wanted it to be large and menacing. So I stamped it in black then scanned it at the highest resolution I could. I opened it with my image editor, cleaned up the image, colored it in, and made the background transparent. Then I used it in MDS like I would a picture. So instead of going MDS to paper, I went paper to MDS…thus reverse hybrid.
Here’s the end result:
Cute, right? I used the stem from the Petal Pizzaz set as seaweed. And here is the inside of the card:
