I had a lot of fun making this card, especially the background on the right. I used the Canvas Stripes stamp from Hero Arts – stamping it in one color, then rotated the paper and stamped again in a second color to make a fun plaid background. I mounted the plaid background on the card base with some patterned paper from Making Memories’ Dilly Dally collection. I’m not going to have time to post anything crafty today. My whole day is booked. This morning I did some crafting at my local coffee shop with some of my neighbors who are doing NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). We meet every Saturday morning to work on our projects together – and by together I mean in silence with a timer so we don’t talk. It is more for the company than for being productive. This is a fun card made with Stampin’ Up!’s Funky Four set. The mushrooms were stamped and then colored in with a contrasting color. I cut them out and then covered them with Crystal Effects to make them nice and shiny. The background of the card is Stampin’ Up!’s Woodgrain stamp, and the text is Calendar Alphabet & Numbers.
