Groovy

This is a fun card made with Stampin’ Up!’s Funky Four set. The mushrooms were stamped and then colored in with a contrasting color. I cut them out and then covered them with Crystal Effects to make them nice and shiny. The background of the card is Stampin’ Up!’s Woodgrain stamp, and the text is Calendar Alphabet & Numbers. Finally, I did some outlining in black to make things pop a bit more. All supplies are from Stampin’...

Woodland Thanks

I punched a mask using the EK Success Wavy Circle punch, then clear embossed Stampin’ Up!’s Woodgrain stamp. I then removed the mask and sponged Stampin’ Up!’s Crumb Cake Ink and Tim Holt’s Peeled Paint Distress Ink over the embossed image and wiped off. I then Punched out the image with Stampin’ Up!’s 2 1/2″ Circle...

I was inspired to make this card by all the cool circus themed products out there, but had to make due with the supplies I had on hand. Immediately I thought of the cute elephant from Stampin’ Up!’s Animal Stories set – that was the easy part. Figuring out the ball and the tent was another story.  After playing around with a few ideas on how to make the ball, I decided to keep it simple and just to use a fabric brad. As for the background, I was really stumped, until I watched the movie Coraline and saw the scene when she is watching the mouse circus. Here’s how I...
